There is something more magical than dressing like a fairy, and that is doing a photoshoot as a fairy in a real forest. I made my Asuna Yuuki Titania cosplay and wore it in a photoshoot by the lake. I am still in love with the character. She is strong and nice and I absolutely love her wardrobe. In her Titania version she wears a lovely white dress. I also made her other Alfheim Online cosplay and made the Asuna Undine version.
How I made Asuna Yuuki Titania
I used a very nice satin to make Asuna’s dress. As I didn’t want my fabric to fray I stabilised it with tape. Maybe this isn’t the most appropriate way but it was a simple and effective trick.
The skirt was a real puzzle. I wanted to get all the nice pleats that I saw on the original design and this is the solution that I figured out.
For the cosplay, I made my own elf ears with paper and foam. Which I covered with some pieces of foam that made the earrings. I added detaisl with 2D puff paint and used acrylic to paint them.
Finally, my wings were made with organza and attached to the back with another piece of white foam.
As I love adding details to cosplay. I even dressed a little doll to be my Yui

As it is usually the case, I was very proud of my Asuna cosplay at the time. If I could go back I would definitely change my make up and wear coloured lenses to make it look more like the character. Nevertheless, the photos were beautiful.
Taking pictures at Delamere forest was magical. There were so many beautiful trees and hidden places. Including the lake. I really felt like a fairy and I am looking forwards to go back.
My friend John was the one who suggested this place. It was summer but it was still very cold. We escaped rain and managed to get a bit of sunlight for the photos, but it started to get grey as soon as we left.
