Description
This digital sewing pattern makes an empire style summer mini dress with straps and a gathered skirt. I give two options for the skirt to make it fuller. Try using chiffon for a dreamy look. I used this pattern for an artbook version of Chi from Chobits using cotton and adding straps, and also for an artbook version of Tomoyo, simply adding a stretch trim to the top to change the look and using the wider skirt pattern (about 1 yard/1 meter).
This pattern is an ideal base to make your own wear, costumes or cosplay, perfect for those who have no time to make their own patterns but would like to create their own clothes in an easy way.
