Not so long ago I showed you how to attach bias tape but… what happens if you can’t find bias of the fabric you need??? You make it! Making bias tape is not difficult and it can be cheaper than buying it on the store.
My square was about 30x40cm and I got around 3 meters of bias. The width of your fabric stripes will depend on your bias maker, mine was a 18mm so I cut the fabric 36mm wide (double). The bias maker is not compulsory though.
No hace tanto tiempo os mostré como coser la cinta al bies pero… ¿¿¿que pasa si no puedes encontrar bies de la tela que necesitas??? ¡La haces! Hacer cinta al bies no es difícil y puede ser más barato que comprarla en la tienda.
Mi rectángulo era de unos 30x40cm y conseguí alrededor de 3 metros de bies. El ancho de las tiras dependerá de vuestro marcador para cinta al bies, el mío era de 18mm así que corté la tela con 36mm de ancho (el doble) pero noo es necesario utilizar el marcador para hacer el bies.
