The cosplay of Apollon Agana Belea was a crazy quick project which I loved doing. Originally I wanted to cosplay him as a male but I decided against it as it would have been difficult and painful to bind my chest.
Apollon is the Greek God of Light and the Sun and is one of the main characters in Kamigami no Asobi. He is kind and charismatic, the typical character that girls die for. Although he wasn’t my first choice in the series I had lots of fun making his simple build.
How I made it
The best part about this cosplay was that I didn’t need to buy anything for it. I decided to do a gender bender as he is bare chested in his god version.
I used mainly cotton fabrics for the clothing. Most of them consisted of rectangles attached to the right places. I cut all the ornaments in foam and painted them with acrylic paints. Also, I used little beads and decorations for the belts. Lastly, I painted the tattoos with Snazaroo white paint. The contact lenses that I used were the Lens Story Maki Yellow from Uniqso.
Overall it was a very simple build but I loved playing with the character and taking some pictures with it. Furthermore, he is a perfect companion for my Yui Kusanagi Cosplay.
