Asuna Yuuki Swimsuit Cosplay

I am a fan of Asuna and it is terribly hot in Spain so I decided to make her swimsuit version. I used some leftover fabrics I had at home and an old bikini. She does wear this costume in some episodes but I mainly based myself on one of her resin figures. I made this cosplay after I finished my Asuna Titania cosplay.

For the bikini top I used a couple of pieces of stretch white fabric. Actually, I added 2 layers to avoid transparencies. I had lots of red ribbon at home, I would say I used about 2-3 meters of medium size ribbon, 2-3 meters of thin ribbon and a meter of wide ribbon. I also bought 1 meter of satin bias tape to match the ribbon. Finally, I painted the cross of Asuna’s guild to the left.

The sarong was literally a rectangle with some ribbon sewn to it. However, if I had to remake it I would probably make it look like a half circle skirt to add more volume to it.

There aren’t many photos of this cosplay. I never got to bring it to the beach but I may decide to do it at some point as I still have it.
