I’m all for trying new things. I usually choose either hyper realistic lenses or super defined contacts for my characters. In both cases they have clear lines and very straight forwards patterns. However, one of my favourite lenses ever was from the Maki series, and it happened to have little patterns on it. That is why I chose another patterned lens to review. You can read my Sweety Shining Brown lenses review below and you will understand what I mean.
Packaging and shipping
I can’t tell you often enough how quick my deliveries from Uniqso are. Once the order is processed they take less than a week to arrive. A total life saver for convention crunch. The order comes super protected in a jiffy bag inside a bigger biodegradable one. And the service that I chose is tracked and signed.
I usually order a pair of lenses and a wig to create a complete look, but this time I decided to buy two pairs of contacts as I already had the wigs for my cosplays. On this occasion I got a couple of little presents as well, a little case with an extra lens case and a free lens to test.
Description of the lenses
This lenses are a beautiful light brown colour that turns to hazel towards the center. They feature little triangular patterns and stars on the lighter colour which however are very subtle when you are wearing them. They add a little bit of extra interest to the lens. The inner rim fades to transparent in a subtle star like pattern which makes them blend perfectly well with your eyes.
These lenses are very comfortable and have plenty of blank spaces that let your eyes breath. Your vision stays very clear and they cover my dark eyes perfectly, with the colour matching my own colour perfectly well. The effect of the lense is extra enlarging, making your eyes look very big.

Wearing Sweety Shining Brown for cosplay
With these lenses I was looking for a contact that would make my eyes look huge. They are very anime style and would work very well with any character which has very big anime style eyes. My eyes are naturally brown so I was looking for the effect that would make them look different.
Although there are many characters with brown eyes like Yuki from Vampire Knight, Haruhi from Ouran Host Club, Chizuru from Hakuoki or Nanami from Kamisama Hajimemashite. My favourite character ever and winner of the perfect match is Chi from Chobits. After all, she is a robot, she can justify fancy lenses!
Final rating
Once more Uniqso‘s lenses get my highest score. These contacts are beautiful and striking yet subtle. You will have people staring at your eyes trying to figure them out and find your secret. A great option to get your eyes to look bigger yet with a very natural and pretty colour. As always, make sure you have your eyes checked before you choose contact lenses for your cosplay.
