I absolutely adore blue eyes. My eyes are very dark and I have always been envious of people with light eyes. However, there are so many hues and different tones! I chose these very rich Sweety K Premier Blue lenses by Uniqso for my next cosplay project.
Packaging and shipping
The shipping from Uniqso is always very quick. Their items come by courier and signature and they always arrive in less than a week and a half. They are well protected in a bag with bubble wrap and a shipping bag.
The Sweety K Premier come in blisters. I much prefer the blisters as they are much easier to open. As always I check the contacts are approved with the Korean and European certificates and they are not out of date. I have several contacts from this brand so I know they can be trusted. The case is always a must to store them, as you know you need to store them properly to make the most of them.
Description of the lenses
These lenses are a dark blue colour with subtle touches of purple which actually look like dark blue when I am wearing them. They have an outer black rim around them and the inside of the lenses design has a star like effect that blends with your eyes. The effect is very realistic considering the colour is not something you would find in the real world.
These contacts are surely on the big side. They make your eyes look bigger which gives them an anime style. As they are bigger they are also a bit more wobbly when you try to ick them up, which makes them ever so slightly more difficult to place in your eyes. However, the effect is well worth it and they are very comfortable.

Wearing Sweety K Premier Blue for cosplay
These lenses are perfect for retro style anime series. I find there are many older series with characters with very dark blue eyes. The big blue eyes are almost an icon of the 80s and 90s. And there are many series that feature them even now a days. The K Premier are perfect for stereotypical anime eyes.
I chose these lenses for my Asuka cosplay, but there are many other characters out there. Belldandy from Ah my Goddess, Sailor Moon, Haruka Nanase or Ciel Phantomhive are just some examples of characters with blue eyes. Here I am wearing them with an Asuka Langley wig.
Final rating
I really like these contact lenses, they were exactly what I was looking for. They cover my dark eyes very well and make them an intense blue. They are very big and comfortable. Their only con is that they are slightly difficult to handle as they are wobbly. This is no problem if you are used to contact lenses but can be slightly tricky for newer users. In general however, they are a success and I highly recommend them.
