The Ririchiyo Shirakiin Summer Uniform Cosplay is with no doubt my favourite of hers. It is actually a very comfortable cosplay for summer and I have considered more than once to go out with it. I also made Ririchiyo’s default cosplay and her yokai form. I just love all her outfits.
How I made it
Once more, I made my pattern with the help of a base pattern. The bottom part is a simple pleated skirt. This was one of the first patterns that I designed using the computer to draft on Illustrator, and I was really happy with how it turned out. This time I used a lighter cotton fabric and a stretch fabric with a herringbone design for the sides in black and white. It fits very well and makes the dress very comfortable. I opted for golden buttons for the dress which mirrored those of her other uniform. Underneath I wore a white short sleeve shirt and a tie.
I used a long purple wig similar to this one and I cut a straight fringe on it. My contact lenses were very dark and I wasn’t happy with my choice at the time, I recommend you to use the Sweety Devil Purple lenses for a more striking look.
If you don’t want to do all the maths I used this pattern for Ririchiyo summer’s dress. It is graded and comes in different sizes and has all the instructions and cutting layout for the dress. It also includes choices of materials and the amount of material you need.
Wearing my Ririchiyo Shirakiin Summer Uniform Cosplay
Woolton Hall is a spooky mansion, and if we add some spooky lights we get amazin pictues like the ones below by Rob Lycett. Unfortunately this place has been vandalised several times and it is now in a state of disrepair, but that did give more personality to the pictures. I hope one day we can save this building so everyone can see it in all its beauty.
The mansion is surrounded by a huge garden and there are many rooms you can visit, each one with a different decoration and style. I could shoot a thousand cosplays in here and always get a different feeling to it. It is that big and incredible.
