Sweety Crazy Lens Mirror Contact Lenses Review

This time I wanted to try a different style of contacts. Most circle lenses have a dark outer ring that makes them look defined and realistic. But this time I wanted to be a cartoon character and I chose to make a Sweety Crazy Lens Mirror Contact Lenses review. As always these lenses are from Uniqso. They are different from other contacts as they are only one flat colour and I was really interested to know how they looked.

Packaging and shipping

Again I was very happy with the packaging and shipping. The lenses came very quickly as always. They were home in less than 10 days and again they came tracked with he postman knocking at my door. In this order I got a wig and a pair of contact lenses. Obviously my parcel was slightly bigger, but again it came in a biodegradable box and with a padded box inside with my items.

Every item was packaged individually. This time my contacts arrived in vials in a very cute pink box. The leaflet is indeed very useful as it tells you what to do if your contact lenses get stuck in the vial but I didn’t have any trouble this time. They also come with a lens case. I love how Uniqso usually tries to match your lenses with the case. Usually, I get a blue case for grey lenses.

I usually have to fight my vials, but for some reason this time it was very easy to open them. Again my vials have all the specifications about the lenses, including the European and Korean markings that deem them save to wear and all the specifications of the lenses.

Description of the lenses

My lenses are completely opaque, they cover my dark eyes perfectly well. They are a flat neutral grey colour and they have no other detail on them. Do not be fooled by their name as they are not a mirror and you will not reflect on them.

The Crazy Lens Mirror contact lenses are very comfortable to wear, however, as they are rather opaque and have a flat colour on them your peripheral vision may be affected. It feels like being in a tunnel but you got used to it after a while. Be careful however as when I wore them for a whole day I did see a bit blurry with them. Also, double check which side is the right side as it is very difficult to distinguish it. The smoother looking side goes out.

Also, these lenses make your eye look slightly bigger, giving it a more cartoony look. I was expecting something very striking. I first thought these lenses would be too obvious to wear and almost expected them to look weird, but I was really happy with how they actually looked on me. I would say any cartoon character with grey eyes would look good with these lenses, but they will also work with characters who have grey eyes or very light blue. If you are looking for a more natural look you can always get the Sweety Bella Grey. I wrote a review for the Bella Grey not long ago and you can compare them. Same colour, different feel. I may also wear the Mirror lenses with my Ai Amano cosplay, as she is a robot I think the effect would look quite interesting with her character.

I chose these lenses to wear them with my Carmen Sandiego cosplay from the new Netflix series. Here I am wearing them with my Premium Wig – Cocoa-Auburn Lace Front Wig. I made a quick test with the coat while I am waiting for my hat. You can find more pictures in the wig review.

Final Rating

If you want contact lenses that cover your dark eyes Sweety is totally your brand. I am very happy with these contacts. The Crazy Lens Mirror Contact Lenses are totally opaque and look really good. As a cosplayer these lenses work perfectly well. Despise only having one tone on them they are very wearable. However, I do see a bit blurry with them so the sensation can get a bit uncomfortable after a while. I would even consider going out with them. A perfect choice for a true grey contact lens.
