I love becoming the character, and in order to become the character, very often I decide to make several of their costumes. In this occasion I decided to make the Diana Prince secretary cosplay, the alter ego of my Wonder Woman cosplay.
How I made it
After a lot of research, I finally was able to find a fabric very similar to the one used in the film. However, the material wasn’t as thick as I could have liked. It was a nice suiting fabric in several tones of grey.
My skirt and jacket had lots of tiny pieces to assemble. After a lot of work I modified an A-line skirt with a buttoned front and a military styled jacket with plenty of pockets. I was actually making a change of clothes during my performance. That is why I decided to use snap buttons on all the parts. It literally takes seconds to take off this whole costume and show the armour underneath.
Wearing my Diana Prince secretary cosplay
I got the chance to take some awesome pictures of my Diana at Woolton Hall with the amazing photographer Stephen Johnson. As I live in England, Wonder Woman seemed to be a perfect choice
I have a thing about glasses. I do not really need them but can’t help looking sophisticated and touching them as much as I can when I wear them. But the pictures looked nice I guess.
