Neon Genesis Evangelion is a classic anime. I couldn’t resist myself and made an Asuka Langley Soryu Cosplay. I didn’t have enough with my Rei and this was an easy, quick and fun project after a big long build.
How I made it
I actually didn’t need to do much for this cosplay. Actually, I had already done the blue uniform for my Rei Ayanami cosplay. I modified a pattern for a flared skirt and added the broad suspenders. Then, I added some godets to create those boxed pleats she wears and later I made her shirt with cotton twill fabric. Finally, I made the hair clips with foam clay painted with acrylics. Also, I did have to modify the wig because it was too long. I did cut the fringe as well.

I only uploaded my favourite pictures here. But you can get the whole lot on my Ko-Fi page for limited time! One day I would like to make her yellow dress and her leotard. Maybe then I can spend a day shooting her properly with all her cosplays.
For the make up I tried something that looked fairly natural with rosy cheeks and fake freckles. Ginger girls usually have freckles and very fair skin after all.
