There is something I like more than anime school uniforms. That is school summer uniforms! I like the short sleeve versions better and same as I did with my Yui Kusanagi and Ririchiyo I made a Karuta Roromiya summer uniform cosplay
How I made my Karuta Roromiya summer uniform Cosplay
I originally made this summer dress for my Ririchiyo Shirakiin summer uniform cosplay. The actual dress is made with cotton and the sides are a stretch fabric with a houndstooth pattern in black and white. This time I decided to use a normal shirt instead of building one from scratch.
I even made a pattern for the summer dress that you can download in several sizes if you want to make this same cosplay!
Wearing my cosplay
Same way as I did with my Ririchiyo cosplay in both of her versions, I took the photos of my Karuta at Woolton Hall Photo Event organised by John Ayliffe. I even sat on a similar armchair to the one I used for Ririchiyo
I took some lovely photos with different photographers and I got to eat lots of Doritos and sweets during the photoshoot. Just to get into character, of course. So sitting at the bar was not a bad idea.
The close up photos highlight my EOS New Adult Pink contacts from Uniqso. We also tried some attempts of freezing photos which were fun with my silly ponytails. It was indeed a lot of fun.
